Our story

Welcome to Bunnyconnellen.

We welcome you to Bunnyconnellen, a high country farm with history as a dairy and sheep farm, as well as an olive grove and vineyard, stretching back to the 1800s. Today, Kate and Oliver offer Bunnyconnellen as an exclusive setting for bespoke country weddings. Couples who marry here are guaranteed exclusive use of the expansive site, including charming onsite accommodation in both the homestead and a cottage.

Weddings

Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large celebration, we tailor every detail to reflect your love story — from garden ceremonies beneath fig trees to sunset receptions on the homestead lawn.

Accommodation

Bunnyconnellen now offers exclusive luxury country stays during or outside of events. The accommodation consists of the 1880’s farmhouse plus self-contained cottage, both renovated to include all of life’s luxuries, yet maintaining authentic characteristics which tell stories of years gone by.

Events

Bunnyconnellen offers a serene country setting for bespoke events, showcasing the region’s finest food and wine with distinctive dining experiences, including long-table gatherings in the olive grove.

“Our stay with 7 people at Bunnyconnellen was just so exceptional. The views, the beautiful house and cottage, just everything was perfect. Great kitchen for the meals we cooked, and we loved eating fresh veggies and herbs from the garden. Seeing the rolling hills from the awesomely big sunroom, the pretty gardens, and all the pretty buildings, the huge trees. So many separate spaces to relax, some nooky, some outside, many inside. But also big enough spaces to gather together for meals and chats and board games. It was incredibly peaceful, just the wind in the trees and the birds and the faint baa-ing of the sheep. Loved all the finishing touches – the vintage books and phone and furnishings. The bedrooms were separated enough from each other to feel quite private. Everything about this place was just quality. Kate was a very quick communicater, and Oliver showed us around when we arrived, and helped us feel at home. We would love to return to this gorgeous place.”
