Autumn Long Lunch

4 May

Join us on May Day long weekend for an Autumn long lunch at Bunnyconnellen.

Enjoy a slow Sunday, Bunnyconnellen style, with a delicious 3 course long table lunch at Bunnyconnellen, with live music from Ben Ross.

Tickets include a welcome drink on arrival, followed by a 3 course lunch from the Soul Kitchen Co. team with a range of seasonal cocktails, a curated wine list and local beverages available for purchase.

With indoor or outdoor dining options available, guests can choose to enjoy the Autumn sunshine on the lawns, or gather in the comfort of our lovingly restored Machinery Shed dining room.

Lunch reservations available for groups of 1 up to 40, so bring your friends or come and make some new ones at our social long lunch.

Join us for a private guided tour of the grounds and accommodation with one of our designated event co-ordinators, and chat with Bunnyconnellen’s owners Kate & Oliver about how we can create your dream 2025, 2026 or 2027 event come true.
Meet James & Tina from Soul Kitchen Co catering & Styled By Soul, and enjoy a complimentary drink and charcuterie box for 2 on the lawns of our Fig Tree Garden.

Christmas In The Grove

29 & 30 November, 6 & 7 December

We are delighted to announce our Christmas In The Grove dates for 2024, in collaboration with Soul Kitchen Co.
Join us for one of four festive celebrations amongst the Olive Grove at Bunnyconnellen this Christmas season.
Tickets include a welcome drink served on arrival, followed by canapés in the Fig Tree Garden. Guests will then be seated in a long table dining amongst the olive grove for a seasonal produce inspired 2 course Christmas feast. There will be live music each evening, and a range of festive cocktails using locally sourced ingredients, a curated wine list, beers, and local and imported spirits will be available from our bar, or bookings can upgrade to a 4 hour beer & wine package.
Bus transfers from Toowoomba, Highfields, & Crows Nest are also available.
Due to popular demand, Christmas In The Grove will this year be held on 4 evenings:

~ Air-conditioned transport from Chapman Park, Hampton (optional pick-up/drop-off available in Crows Nest & Highfields)
~ Visiting three local farms, before arriving at Bunnyconnellen for lunch
~ A four-course, long table lunch prepared by celebrity chef Alastair McLeod
~ A glass of wine each, from award-winning Rosalie House, paired to accompany the 2 of the main courses

Autumn Picnic 2024

5th May 2024

Continuing the tradition of our Autumn Picnic, Bunnyconnellen’s first picnic event of 2024 will be held on the May Day long weekend on Sunday the 5th of May.
Bring along your picnic rug and enjoy live music on our newly renovated outdoor stage from an incredible lineup of Australian Artists including The Voice winner Judah Kelly, along with Darling Downs favourites The 78 Sound & Andrzej Fenner.
Enjoy an extensive array of delights from Bluebird Kitchen & Smokehouse, Graze Co, Toowoomba Wood Fired Pizza, La Belle Crêperie, Primal Plate, and this year we will be introducing a pop up restaurant with set menu from Soul Kitchen Co. with 3 courses, matched wines and a glass of sparkling on arrival.
There will be market stalls available to browse, and the bar will be stocked with your favourite local beverages and seasonal cocktails.
We will even have bus transfers available from Toowoomba, Highfields & Crows Nest.
Local accommodation available in Clementine Cottage Crows Nest.
And the best thing? Monday is a Public Holiday!
All you have to do is BYO picnic rug or something to sit on.
You can even bring along the family pooch to join in the fun!

Bunnyconnellen Wedding Open Day

The Bunnyconnellen Wedding Open Day will be held on Sunday the 3rd of March 2024.

This bespoke wedding event will not only showcase a collection of some of our favourite vendors in the bridal industry, but also Bunnyconnellen’s picturesque ceremony and reception spaces and on-site accommodation.

Not only is the Open Day the ideal outlet for couples to gain inspiration, but a perfect way to enjoy a local inspired cocktails, food tastings and listen to great music, all while planning the perfect wedding.
