2009 - 'Bird in the Bush' Rosé - $16
A great drop crafted for Queensland’s balmy days and nights. We consume ours on the deck, pondering our navel and taking in the views of the garden, including our favourites ‘bird in the bush’ water tap.
Made from a blend of cabernet sauvignon and a hint of Verdelho grapes provides aromas of fresh berries which finishes with just a hint of sweetness. This makes for an exceptionally refreshing 'spritzer' when topped up with a third sparkling mineral water of your choice. Serve really well chilled with our ‘Siesta’ olives and slivers of triple creamed Brie cheese. Yum…
ON THE MENU
Perfect for that light ‘deck’ lunch of corned beef and Janie’s bush mustard, tapenade filled boiled potato and fresh English spinach from the garden. Chin, chin! See our website for recipe inspiration.
PRESERVATIVE (220) ADDED. ALC/VOL 12.8%. APPROX 6.4 STANDARD DRINKS. |

2006 - 'Wash-house Red' Shiraz - $25
An exciting oak aged Shiraz displaying light garnet hue with a hugely intense cherry and raspberry nose. Delicate secondary aromas of oak and hints of chocolate come through to set this wine into another dimension. Plenty of fresh sweet fruit characters tantalise the palate which finishes with pleasant silky soft tannins on the back palate. Just the right amount of sweetness to be enjoyed with antipasto, light pasta or even solo.
ON THE MENU
Ideal with rack of lamb coated with Bunnyconnellen 'Tournament' tapenade just prior to removing from the oven. Oh... yes... See our website for more recipe inspiration.
PRESERVATIVE (220) ADDED. ALC/VOL 14.5%. APPROX 8.6 STANDARD DRINKS.

2006 - 'Laneway' Chardonnay (Unwooded) - $20
When a dairy, Bunnyconnellen had ‘laneways’ connecting water troughs and cultivated pasture. They still exist today as this label depicts the ‘girls’ off down the ‘laneway’ in about 1919, and ‘lazy days’ taken in the 1940’s.
This is a bold wine made from grapes sourced at the Granite Belt. Big on flavour so don’t mess about; enjoy with a Jumbo Kalamata ‘Earnest’ olives as a tapas or aperitif.
ON THE MENU
This wine calls for wholesome food and complements my favourite, a nourishing Provencal rabbit and olive stew, you won’t be disappointed – promise!
See our website for more details.
PRESERVATIVE (220) ADDED. ALC/VOL 14%. APPROX 6.4 STANDARD DRINKS. |

Contains grapes sourced at the Granite Belt and accordingly oozes subtle apricot flavours to compliment our warmed 'Exceptional' olives.
ON THE MENU
This wine calls for clean food and compliments my favourite white fish poached in Verdelho with a smidgen of 'Contemplation' lemon myrtle infused extra virgin olive oil - see our website for more details.

Selected in 1878 Frederick and Caroline Swain settled the property in 1883. In 1887 Caroline Swain was left a widow in the homestead. This label depicts Caroline on Christmas Day in about 1942 with her immediate family.
This wine is made from grapes sourced at the Granite Belt and Darling Downs. Aged in Oak this wine will keep for a number of years. Enjoy with our 'Dorsetshire' olives.
ON THE MENU
A must with Beef Burgundy, new potatoes and runner beans - see our website for more details.
